Josiah Bartlett diary and logbook, 1781-1782.

Diary and logbook kept by military surgeon Josiah Bartlett on board the privateer Pilgrim, 19 April - 4 Oct. 1781 and 11 Dec. 1781 - 23 July 1782. Bartlett describes the travels of the Pilgrim, under the command of Captain Joseph Robinson, off the coasts of Canada and Western Europe, as well as visits to several ports in the West Indies. Bartlett also notes skirmishes with British vessels, prizes captured by the crew, and a list of officers for each voyage.
